Ellen’s Oscar 2023 Predictions

Updated: May 5, 2023

A friend, ProfTonks, set us both the challenge to watch as many of this year’s Oscar Nominated films as possible! As of the afternoon of the Oscars I managed to watch 35 of the 54 films nominated across the 23 categories. You can have a look at my Oscars 2023 letterboxd list here.

My Top Ten Fiction Films (ranked) in the Oscar Conversation are:

Living

Elvis

RRR

The Banshees of Inisherin

Tar

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

Women Talking

Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

Marcel the Shell With Shoes On

If your faves aren’t here, it could be that it’s one of the films I didn’t get to see or we have different tastes!
