21 Films #DirectedbyWomen since 2000

Updated: May 5, 2023

In celebration of International Women's Day in March 2020, I set myself the challenge to pick one film a year, directed by a woman since 2000. Given that later in the year I embarked on film viewing project to watch films sequentially from 1930 to 2020, I thought I'd revisit this list to see whether any new discoveries have moved those previously selected out of the top-spot!
