ABOUT ME
Having spent my childhood reading books, visiting art galleries, watching films and going to the theatre, it seemed inevitable that when I left school I would work in the Arts and Heritage sector.
For the next 25 years from my first job as a Box Office Assistant to my last full-time job as Head of Marketing and Communications at West Dean College and Gardens, that's what I did.

In 2013 I decided I wanted to pursue a more flexible portfolio career, so I now combine Writing, Researching and Lecturing about Film with Marketing, Fundraising and Project Management primarily working with Charities and Arts Organisations. I'm currently raising money and the profile of projects we're raising money for at Chichester Cathedral..

1. As a child I was in some TV adverts. Can you spot me in these two?

2. I love swimming in the sea, and since 2020 I started swimming throughout the year, including through the winter. Amazing!

3. Inspired by a course I went on at West Dean, now make jewellery & collages out of found objects.

4. Given that my surname is Cheshire, I was drawn to Adventures of Alice in Wonderland and have built up a collection of over 120 film/TV adapatations. #CheshireonAlice

5. The British film star Margaret Lockwood was my grandfather's first cousin. Sadly, I never met her.
But I do love her films.
